Bio

Larry Leffew was born in Muncie, Indiana, served in the military, and settled down in what used to be the small town of Danville, just west of Indianapolis, Indiana. He developed a love of watercolor after being able to view some of Mark and Steve Palomcek's work in the early eighties. Mr. Palomcek gave him a list of supplies to start with and his passion took off. Larry has been influenced by Ladoga, Indiana artist Rob Odell, Tony Couch of Atlanta, Georgia, Joe Fettingis of Logansport, Indiana, and the "Friday Morning Crowd" where several artists gather to paint and fellowship. Attending workshops of these artists gave Larry the skills to "put on paper" the things he loved. Larry has won several awards in locals show in the Indianapolis Area.
